At Capturing Courage, our board members are the heart of our organization, guiding our mission to provide free, professional photography to NICU families. Their passion, expertise, and dedication ensure that we continue to serve families with compassion and excellence.
Our Leadership Team
Erin Iozzi
Founder & Executive Director
Erin is a professional photographer and a former NICU mom to a 24-week micro-preemie. She founded Capturing Courage in April of 2018 after being inspired by an experience she had as a new NICU mom.
Nichole Pemberton
Vice President
Nichole is an IT Project Manager with more than 20 years of experience. Her son Quentin was born at 25 weeks and spent almost a year in the NICU. Nichole is passionate about providing support to NICU families and is excited to help carry out the mission of Capturing Courage.
Shana Richards
Financial Coordinator
Shana is a mother to two former NICU babies. She currently serves as the Events Manager at
Mettler-Toledo, LLC. Shana’s roles at Capturing Courage include coordinating fundraising and marketing efforts.
Kendra Lupton
Board Member
Kendra is a Client Service Associate at Birchcreek and is extremely active in her local community. She’s involved with SouthBrook Church, the Black Oak Swim Club and Centerville City Schools PTO. She has two daughters, Kinsey and Kora.
Laura Dungan
Business Consultant
A grandmother of three, including a 24 week micro preemie, Laura loves to witness the joy of NICU families resulting from the services provided by Capturing Courage. She recently retired with 43 years of experience as a registered nurse in critical care nursing, utilization management, physician contracting, and claims impact analysis.
